Sanctuary

Tie the Knot with Pastor Dave has a business relationship with the Mennonite Church located in the Lake City neighborhood of Seattle.  They have graciously allowed us to conduct weddings and other ceremonies in their sanctuary.  The sanctuary was originally a single screen movie theater, so is very acoustically friendly.  While Pastor Dave does not include religious elements in ceremonies, there are minimal Christian references in the Sanctuary and the rest of the building, so it is generally quite suitable for a non-religious event.  There is comfortable seating for 80, which can be expanded by adding seats to the banquet area.

Banquet Area

Just above the sanctuary is a small banquet area.  Round or rectangular tables are included with the rental.  This area has comfortable seating for 50, or can accommodate more standing with a few tables serving finger food.

No alcohol is allowed in the building.

Kitchen

The concession stand for the original theater has been converted to a full kitchen with with two ovens a stove top, a microwave oven, a large refrigerator/freezer, and a commercial sink.  The front counter is perfect for buffet style dining.  Your caterer will love it, or you can bring your own food.
